In a notice released on Friday, August 22, KUCCPS urged eligible candidates to take advantage of the extended deadline. All applications must be submitted online via the KUCCPS Student Portal at students.kuccps.net.
“Don’t miss out! Apply now to secure your chance!” KUCCPS said.
The intake targets KCSE holders from 2000 to 2024, who can apply for diploma, craft, and artisan certificate programmes with the following minimum grade requirements: diploma (Level 6) – C-, craft certificate (Level 5) – D, and artisan certificate (Level 4) – E.
To make the application process more accessible, KUCCPS has reduced the fee from Sh1,500 to Sh500.
Initially, KUCCPS had set the TVET application deadline for August 22, 2025, before extending it to August 28, 2025, to give candidates more time to apply.
“The application fee has been slashed from Sh1,500 to Sh500 to boost access,” KUCCPS said in an earlier notice.
The extension and fee reduction aim to increase access to practical skills training, enabling young Kenyans to acquire qualifications that prepare them for careers in technical and vocational fields.
Candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to secure their placements in the September 2025 intake.
Application guidelines are available on the KUCCPS website, www.kuccps.ac.ke.
Those seeking assistance can visit any TVET institution or Huduma Centre across the country. Inquiries can also be made by calling 020 5137400 or 0723 954 927, or by emailing [email protected].
The announcement comes amid government efforts to strengthen the country’s technical training capacity and align skills development with industry demands.
